7+ years of Software Engineering or Infrastructure Automation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of experience designing, operating, and optimizing large-scale, distributed systems in production environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance
5+ years of leadership experience in technology and automation
5+ years of experience in fast-paced agile environments
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to build partnerships across business and functional areas
Skilled in leading technical strategies, mentoring teams, and driving innovation and automation best practices
Expertise in Ansible Automation Platform (playbook development, workflows, governance)
Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration (OpenShift, Kubernetes)
Proficient in Linux administration and scripting (Shell, YAML, Python)
Expert in system performance analysis and tuning, and troubleshooting complex automation challenges
Knowledge of enterprise security practices and compliance frameworks
Working knowledge of HashiCorp tools (Terraform, Vault, Packer)
Working knowledge of one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including integration of security and compliance scanning within automation workflows (GitHub Actions, Argo CD)
Ability to work additional hours as needed
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
