Managed Account Trading Operations Analyst
This job is responsible for moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including the movement of assets into and out of accounts. Key responsibilities include reconciliation, settlement, and trade and transfer support, and providing quality service and operations support for internal business partners and external clients, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Job expectations include handling in operational processes which may carry medium to high levels of monetary risk and assisting in training less experienced team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Performs moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact according to the established written guidelines and procedures
- Responds to moderately complex client inquiries via numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service
- Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex transactions requiring escalations and exceptions
- Proactively identifies risk and opportunities for process improvements based on an understanding of how the work impacts other operational units

As a Managed Account Trading Operations Analyst, the individual will be responsible for monitoring workflow and ensuring daily team deadlines are achieved for trade execution, booking client allocations and completing voluntary corporate action elections for client accounts managed Investment Managers. All processes associated with the team workflow are performed within a robust control environment and the Analyst will ensure trades that are executed by Investment Managers are booked timely and accurately to client accounts while identifying and eliminating risks by proactively monitoring workflow, serving as quality assurance and escalating issues as appropriate while engaging the right leaders and partners.
What you'll do:
- Ensure trades that are executed by Financial Advisors (FAs) / Investment Managers are booked timely and accurately to client accounts
- Eliminate risks by proactively monitoring workflow, serving as quality control and escalating issues as appropriate while engaging the right leaders and partners
- Serve as or assist the trade allocation subject matter expert to problem-solve complex/escalated issues and provide training and support to the processors
- Pull reports, analyze data and place data in a usable format for dialogue and decision-making including daily statistics and metrics for Single Process Inventory
- Document and summarize team issues in a logical easy to read manner
- Support quality assurance routines as needed depending on volumes
Required skills include:
- Minimum two years of experience working in broker dealer operations with knowledge of common operational issues, controls and quality assurance (QA)
- Prior experience serving as lead in an operational environment or currently working as a consistently high performing GWIM Service Operations Representative
- Must be able to give clear effective examples of past successes in teamwork, use of analytical skills, time and organizational self-management, flexibility to a changing environment and ability to work in a fast paced deadline-driven environment
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel to include formulas, running saved macros and pivot tables
- Proven experience with presenting and writing information clearly, concisely and grammatically correct
- Demonstrated experience with effectively reviewing documents/information and quickly identifying errors, while understanding the cause of the error and taking action to implement sustainable solutions
- Self-motivated, proactive and able work with minimal supervision
Desired skills include:
- Prior trade support experience
- Series 7 license
- Experience with Managed Products
This position is currently located at 901 Main Street, Dallas, TX but will relocate to the Addison campus at 16001 N Dallas Parkway in mid 2026. Successful candidate(s) for this role would be required to work in the Main Street location until the move to Addison occurs.
