We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage employee onboarding processes, including I-9 verification and background checks.
  • Provide administrative support by organizing mail, maintaining HR records, and assisting with general office tasks.
  • Assist with employee relations by addressing inquiries and supporting HR-related concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, including adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize HR systems such as UKG Pro and ADP to manage employee data and payroll processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline HR workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Schedule and participate in virtual and in-person interviews, ensuring a smooth hiring experience.
  • Monitor and respond to HR-related communications promptly and professionally.
  • Stay past regular hours as needed to complete critical tasks and support the team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Requirements:

    • Previous experience in HR administration or a related field.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as UKG Pro and ADP.
    • Strong understanding of onboarding procedures, including I-9 compliance.
    • Familiarity with processes related to employee relations.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Knowledge of HR policies and regulatory standards.
    • Flexibility to work beyond regular business hours when necessary.
