Hr Assistant

We are looking for an organized and proactive HR Assistant to join our client's team in Houston, Texas. This role requires a dynamic individual who can support various human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration. Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll activities using ADP systems to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Organize and facilitate new employee orientation programs to promote company values and policies.
  • Assist in benefits administration, including answering employee questions and processing enrollments.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with managers to support workforce planning and employee engagement strategies.
  • Provide administrative support for HR functions, such as scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
  • Stay informed about HR trends and recommend improvements to existing processes.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and onboarding.
  • Proficiency in ADP payroll systems or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and legal compliance standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience conducting orientations for new team members and managing onboarding processes.
