As a Field Service Representative at Oncor, you're responsible for working service orders involving the disconnecting, reconnecting, setting, reading, and investigating of meters on residential, commercial, and industrial premises. These orders must be worked safely and in a prescribed timeframe, resulting in the proper delivery and measurement of electric energy. This position will have an assigned service territory within our Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC market and be based out of our Stanton District.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. Valid Texas Driver's License required. Applicants with experience in meter reading or related electric measurement; working with electric utility field service orders encouraged to apply.
Demonstrates knowledge of metering applications to include proper voltages and dangers associated with those applications. Ability to recognize sub-standard metering installations and take appropriate action. Interaction with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues in accordance with company policies and standards. Demonstrates contribution to workgroup and company goals. Demonstrates ability to perform work with minimum supervision while maintaining a continuing mentoring relationship. Follows Measurement Services safety procedures to ensure the safety of employees and the public.
