Position Summary: The program administrator oversees program development and execution by managing budgets, coordinating staff, ensuring compliance, and handling operations from planning to evaluation. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure programs achieve their objectives and run efficiently within various sectors like government, education, and non-profits.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages daily operations, coordinates activities, and ensures alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Develops and implements program policies, procedures, and systems, along with creating timelines and project plans.
  • Develops and manages program budgets, monitors expenses, and tracks financial reports.
  • Coordinates staff, volunteers, and other resources, while also managing relationships with key stakeholders and funding agencies.
  • Ensures adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and designs tools to assess program effectiveness.
  • Prepares reports on program status, challenges, and successes for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

Certifications/Licensures:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare's vehicle insurance is required; CPR Certification, First Aid Certification

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Experience and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in project management software, data analysis tools, and database management systems.
  • Strong leadership, time management, multitasking, and communication abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and work on weekends or during the evening when necessary.
  • Must possess sound judgment and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in non-profit or educational settings.
