The Opportunity We're hiring Engineer II, Engineer III, and Engineering Leaders to join our Engineering & Construction (Delivery) team. These are boots-on-the-ground roles embedded with project operations—ideal for engineers who want to see their designs built, tested, and commissioned in the field (not desk-only/consulting-only). What You'll Do Power Systems Design & Integration: Medium/low voltage distribution, emergency power, UPS; lighting design & controls; device coordination with mech/plumbing/other trades. Analysis & Tools: Short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash, cable pulls/ductbank heating; SKM/ETAP/AGI32/ElumTools (or similar). Design Deliverables: Drawings/specs/studies/Basis of Design, installation packages, commissioning scripts; AutoCAD/Revit (2D/3D); VDC/BIM participation. Field Execution: On-site inspections, field testing and troubleshooting, RFIs/submittal review, constructability checks, and startup/commissioning support. Quality & Compliance: Project-specific QC plans, checklists, and tracking logs; adherence to NEC and relevant codes/standards; data collection and reporting. Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, assign/review work, manage design scope/schedule/budget, and interface with operations, vendors, and customers. Qualifications by Level Engineer II (E2): BS in Electrical (or related) from accredited program (ABET required). ~4–5 years in building power design/field integration. Strong interest in construction-side engineering (design-build delivery). Engineer III (E3): BS in Electrical (or related); 5–8 years in power systems design or commissioning. PE preferred (or a clear plan to obtain—support available). Proficiency across most responsibilities; expertise in some. Engineering Leader (EL): BS/MS in Electrical (ABET required); 10+ years progressive experience. Proven multi-discipline leadership on complex projects; ability to manage scopes, mentor teams, and drive decisions on active job sites. Preferred Skills (all levels) AutoCAD/Revit; SKM/ETAP/AGI32/ElumTools (or similar). NEC code knowledge; design-build/VDC exposure. Clear, structured communication; strong organization and follow-through. Ability to travel up to 25% and work on active construction sites. Compensation & Benefits Engineer II: $78K–$110K base + discretionary bonus (approx. 3–7%). Engineer III: $93K–$130K base + discretionary bonus (approx. 3–7%). Engineering Leader: up to $160K base + discretionary bonus (approx. 3–7%). Monroe, LA What We're Really Looking For (Hot Buttons) Delivery-side mindset: Field-present engineers who partner with construction and see projects through commissioning. Construction experience preferred (not required) if you're excited to grow in that direction. Leaders from contractors/GCs for EL roles (not pure consulting backgrounds). ABET programs strongly preferred; PE is a plus (or plan to obtain). Interview Flow Step 1 (Virtual, ~60 min): Background, problem-solving, career goals, delivery mindset. Step 2 (On-site Panel): Technical deep dive (principles, NEC, design/field scenarios). Candidates receive structured prep ahead of the panel.
