The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, brings established executive relationships, and has a track record of developing consulting talent and winning strategic business. You will play a critical role in shaping CGI's Houston metro trajectory, responsible not just for delivery and operations, but for business development, talent growth, solution creation, and program delivery. You are someone who understands the end-to-end value of CGI's service offerings and can drive us from transactional engagements to high-value strategic relationships.

Future Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end accountability for delivery, business development, and talent growth within your consulting portfolio.
  • Develop a high-impact pipeline of new logo opportunities and strategic deals aligned with CGI's full-service offerings.
  • Serve as one of the faces of CGI in the Houston market, nurturing existing client relationships and opening doors at the right levels to accelerate growth.
  • Drive thought leadership and innovation, speak at industry events, lead solution design, and co-author new consulting offerings that respond to market demand.
  • Lead with a coaching mindset, mentoring your team of senior consultants and consultants to build a strong leadership bench for future continuity.
  • Guide strategic pursuits, proposals, and oral presentations, infusing complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and storytelling into every opportunity.
  • Collaborate across business units and with global delivery teams to ensure client success and long-term engagement.
  • Monitor performance and profitability of engagements, proactively removing barriers to growth and creating a winning culture.

Technology Leadership:

  • We are seeking a DCS who is fluent in a broad range of cross-technology platforms and can lead the design and delivery of future-forward solutions.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge across OT and IT domains, particularly in cybersecurity frameworks and industrial security practices.
  • Possess hands-on familiarity with enterprise platforms including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and modern ERP implementation strategies.
  • Lead cloud-native solution design and delivery leveraging Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Drive modern data platform architectures and services, including data lakes, analytics stacks, and governance (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Apply AI and machine learning concepts to real-world business problems and incorporate intelligent automation into digital transformation solutions.
  • Stay current on emerging technology trends and translate those into actionable solutions and market offerings.
  • Guide multi-disciplinary teams in delivering complex, cross-platform consulting engagements that align with business value.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 12+ years of experience leading medium to large consulting teams with end-to-end responsibility.
  • 10+ years of experience in defining, selling, and delivering complex technology and business solutions in a consulting environment.
  • 8+ years of experience owning or influencing P&L with a track record of turning around or scaling a consulting practice.
  • Strong business development acumen, with demonstrable success in landing new clients and closing strategic deals.
  • Existing executive relationships in the Houston market with the ability to generate immediate momentum.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills, able to prioritize what moves the business forward with limited guidance.
  • Strong presence, self-awareness, and communication skills across all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience creating thought leadership content, leading solution design, and speaking publicly.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and inspire talent, with a leadership style that reflects CGI's values.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
