Cyber Security Penetration Tester
This position is for a cybersecurity penetration tester supporting the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Cyber Rangeâ„¢ (ACR). The ACR is responsible for conducting cybersecurity assessments of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics platforms. The candidate is responsible for performing a wide array of cybersecurity assessment methodologies that leverage technical knowledge and threat intelligence to assess an embedded system's security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and develop exploits/appropriate mitigations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of embedded systems and supporting IT systems
- Tools and capabilities development to support vulnerability assessments
- Support analysis and development of cyber assessments concepts in support of customers high level requirements and mission needs
- Formal documentation and reporting of discovered vulnerabilities to senior leaders
- Continued development of personal and ACR TTPs in the arenas of: Hardware/Software/RF/Embedded Network analysis and reverse engineering

The selected candidate must possess a secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in penetration testing or a related cybersecurity role
- Moderate to advanced coding experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient technical writing skills
Desired Skills:
- B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Security, or Information Technology
- Experience with the real-time embedded systems (avionics systems or similar)
- Experience with software analysis (e.g. static code analysis, dynamic code analysis, etc.) as applied to high-level programming languages (C, C++, Java)
- Experience with RF analysis/reverse engineering as applied to avionics platforms
- Experience with hardware analysis/reverse engineering as applied to avionics platforms
- Experience with embedded network protocol analysis/reverse engineering as applied to avionics platforms
- Experience with creating and presenting technical information to senior-level executives and customers
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent communication skills (written and verbal communications) and have the ability to work in a dynamic work environment
