Municipal Courts currently has a part-time employment opportunity available for individuals who are self-motivated, customer service-oriented, pay attention to detail, and possess strong organizational skills. As an official of the Court, your responsibilities may include the following:
Working Conditions: General office setting. May require long periods of standing or sitting at a computer terminal and interacting with citizens in person and also by telephone. Must be able to work rotating weekends and/or holidays as needed. Must be able to travel to another court location on short notice.
Education Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or a GED.
Experience Requirements: Six (6) months of administrative or customer service-related experience is required. Substitution: An Associate's degree may be substituted for the experience requirement.
License Requirements: None
Preferences may be given to candidates that are: Bilingual in Spanish. Familiar with Court System Management and Resource Technology (CSMART) and its functionalities; that have documented heavy cash handling experience; heavy customer service experience as well as knowledge of court policies and procedures; and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Three (3) years of cash handling, administrative or customer service-related experience is preferred.
