Controls Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with extensive experience in servicing Fanuc robots, specifically in the context of mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance. This position plays a crucial role in supporting repair activities and continuous improvements within our Paint processing for Paint spray booths.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain Fanuc robots equipment with a focus on mechanical and electrical repair.
  • Apply your 3+ years of experience in Paint spraying robots applications, including models such as P500, P700, and P1000.
  • Engage in hands-on repair activities during off-shifts, including Sundays and scheduled downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with unionized skilled trades personnel during equipment repairs.
  • Provide troubleshooting and first-call support during regular downtime calls on your assigned shift.
  • Contribute to robot programming to support continuous improvements in Paint processing.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Fanuc Robotics.
  • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting robotic systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics and paint spraying robotics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work effectively with unionized personnel.
  • Experience in robot programming for process improvements.

Work Environment:

This role requires flexibility to work during various shifts, including off-shifts such as Sundays and scheduled downtimes. The candidate will work closely with unionized skilled trades personnel in a hands-on capacity to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
