The Federal Contract Manager provides oversight and direction for Federal and Commercial projects. The Contract Manager develops, coordinates, negotiates, reviews, and administers both customer and vendor contracts of the Company, including maintenance and upkeep of the contracts database and related systems. The position supports all aspects of contract management throughout the contracting process, from pre-proposal activities through contract closure. This position reports to the Corporate Counsel and supports all aspects of contract management throughout the contracting process, from pre-proposal activities through contract closure.

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other related fields from an accredited institution. Advanced knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and other government Regulations from a government contracting perspective. Must be organized and detail-oriented, demonstrate strong time management and critical thinking skills, and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to relay policy information in understandable formats to all employee levels. Must be able to drive meetings and appropriately describe contract risks and benefits. Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance. National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) designation highly preferred.

The employee typically performs duties in a normal office environment. There may be some work in a manufacturing environment and exposure to the elements of our factory. Additionally, there may be some work performed in the field with exposure to construction sites or active customer facilities.
