Provide automation and control engineering support, along with on-site installation and start-up support for control system upgrades related to liquid and solid separation process equipment and systems. Responsibilities include providing engineering support for automation and control systems, assisting with on-site installation and start-up support for control system upgrades, and designing and implementing custom control systems for dewatering and thickening process equipment.
Essential skills include extensive knowledge of motor controls, drives, electrical controls, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication. Experience with PLC systems, HMI units, rotating equipment drive systems, instrumentation, and control components is required. Proficiency in Rockwell PLC and HMI programming software is also necessary. Additionally, proficiency in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat is required. Good troubleshooting skills for automation and control systems and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are also essential.
Additional skills and qualifications include familiarity with industrial communication networks such as Modbus, experience with industrial PLC, HMI, VFD products, and programming software, knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and familiarity with other PLC platforms is advantageous.
The role involves working with advanced technologies and equipment in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be comfortable working on-site for installation and start-up activities, with a focus on control system upgrades. The position may require troubleshooting in various industrial settings, demanding a good understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
This is a contract to hire position based out of Arlington, TX. The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
