Clinical Training Specialist – Vascular Intervention (PRN, 1099)
A leading medical device company is seeking skilled professionals in the Corpus Christi region with experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Hybrid OR settings to provide on-site clinical training and procedural support for advanced vascular intervention devices.
This independent contractor (1099) position is part-time/PRN, offering flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to remain hands-on in cutting-edge interventional care. This is a clinical training role only — not sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person training and in-servicing on vascular access and intervention devices
- Provide case coverage in Cath Labs, IR suites, and Hybrid ORs
- Support account setup and hospital onboarding
- Maintain accurate reports and logs of training sessions
- Serve as the clinical liaison between hospital staff and the device manufacturer
Required Qualifications
- Direct procedural experience in Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR (RN, RCIS, RT(R), CVT)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel within the South Texas region (Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Victoria, Brownsville)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior medical device in-servicing or training experience
- Familiarity with DVT/PE treatment and thrombectomy systems
Compensation & Perks
