Clinical Training Specialist – Vascular Intervention (PRN, 1099)

A leading medical device company is looking for skilled professionals with experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Hybrid OR settings to deliver on-site clinical training, procedural guidance, and education to hospital teams across Florida.

This independent contractor (1099) position is part-time/PRN, offering flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced vascular intervention technologies. This is a purely clinical role — not a sales position — focused on training and integration support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead in-person education sessions and in-servicing for vascular access and intervention devices
  • Provide procedural case coverage in Cath Labs, IR suites, and Hybrid OR environments
  • Assist with account setup and onboarding for new facilities
  • Keep accurate training logs and submit timely reports
  • Act as the primary clinical resource between hospital teams and the manufacturer

Required qualifications:

  • Direct experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Hybrid OR involving vascular intervention or vascular access procedures (RCIS, RT(R), CVT, or RN with procedural expertise)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel within assigned region

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience delivering medical device training or in-servicing
  • Knowledge of DVT/PE treatment and thrombectomy devices

Compensation & perks:

  • $50–$75/hour (depending on experience)
  • Daily stipend or IRS-standard mileage reimbursement
  • Flexible, self-managed schedule (typically 1–3 days/week)
  • Comprehensive product training provided

This role is ideal for technologists, nurses, and procedural specialists who want to:

  • Take on flexible, part-time consulting work
  • Stay active in the latest interventional care advancements
  • Earn extra income while sharing clinical expertise
