Job Summary: Assure the quality level of the suppliers to meet the business requirements through assessments, analysis and audits. Perform and guide / mentor in performing supplier audits, how to coordinate and act upon audit findings, document adherence to process flows and necessary process control points are in place. Execute the quality control procedures, correct quality deviations and complete the inspection report on time. Visualize Supplier Performance. Identify and implement appropriate controls and methods for measuring supplier quality, secure and validate documentation and specification of manufacturing. Identify systematic Quality losses from suppliers and recommend systematic improvements. Request supplier activities based on losses found. Work as Supplier Quality responsible with Projects and Sourcing team to follow the contracts, Purchase Orders and product special specifications according to the project or process, delivery follow up, inspections at supplier and customer premises, correct quality deviations and documentation. Participate in development of methods and procedures, mentorship and guidance. Support Supplier Management in supplier selection and supplier base management.
What you will do: Lead supplier audits and drive targeted improvement actions to meet quality and project expectations. Own supplier development and validation plans, ensuring measurable performance progress. Track and challenge supplier performance using data, audits, and stakeholder inputs. Contribute to category strategies and collaborate across global and local teams. Resolve systemic supplier issues at root cause level, securing robust and lasting solutions. Deliver impactful technical training to teams and suppliers. Communicate risks, progress, and actions in regular quality forums. Primary focus: Strengthen capability and performance of Machinery and Capital Equipment suppliers. Looking ahead: You could expand your scope to include base material suppliers, building a stronger, end-to-end quality approach across the supply chain.
We believe you have Degree in Engineering or related field. Experience in supplier development, auditing, and technical training (2+ years). Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Strong problem-solving mindset with root cause analysis expertise. Clear and confident communication skills. Welding knowledge is a plus. Fluent in English and Chinese.
