Project Engineer Intern

The Tetra Pak Internship Program aims to qualify potential student talents through the experience of real situations in the corporate world, offering opportunities for them to develop on a personal and professional level. Our approach prepares new talents to face their upcoming professional challenges. Upon joining our team, the intern will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day-to-day activities. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare new trainees to put their full potential into action. The position will be based at our Tetra Pak office in Panama City. Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What You Will Do

As a Project Engineer Intern, you will:

  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose innovative improvements
  • Review of electrical and mechanical manuals
  • Develop tools and methods to support the area
  • Resource planning
  • Preparation of information for project closing meetings
  • Monitoring delivery dates for spare parts and equipment
  • Ensuring data consistency across platforms (Planview, Projectplace, SAP)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain clear documentation

We Believe You Have

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics, Electrical or related fields of engineering areas.
  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point), AutoCAD knowledge and experience from school.
  • English Advanced: Can have strong conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.
  • Availability for internship: January 19 to December 7, 2026.
  • Graduation expected: December 2026 or afterwards.
  • Availability to work and commute to our site 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5pm, during the full internship program.

  • Video interview (September 8 – October 10)
  • Interview (October 13 – October 24)
  • Admission (October 27 – November 14)
  • Start Date January 19, 2026.
