Job Summary
Within Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions we are looking for a Process Engineer who will widen his/her technical knowledge about verification & validation process, with a deep focus on our processing equipment.
In this role you will be an individual contributor who will take physical test executing responsibility on the equipment in our processing plant, supporting in this way evaluation of designs and choice of test methodology, participating to planning of tests, results analysis and reports.
This is a permanent position based in Modena (Italy). You will be asked to travel up to 30% of your time to suppliers and customers sites.
What You Will Do
- Conducting test in our UHT Plant making sure that they are error-free and in line with the test specification
- Processing equipment as technical reference: configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and test environment
- Reporting and presenting deviations and results
- Contribute to the product development providing solutions and technical information to Functional Competencies

We Believe You Have
- A technical education in Food Technology and Processing, Food engineering or similar
- Consolidated testing experience in Automatic Machine with mechatronic content, preferably in the area of food or pharmaceutical processing
- Familiarity with several testing techniques and tools in order to be able to implement and understand results (physical testing capability)
- Mechanical skills: assembling and disassembling components and sub-systems
- Electrical competence in reading electrical schemes and cabling
- Automation skills and knowledge on different platforms (eg: Siemens)
- Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge in reading pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and cabling
Advantages for you will be:
- Technical writing competence in order to create technical project documentation conveying information clearly and accurately
- Knowledge of World Class Engineering and statistical tool (robust Design, DOE, P Diagram and Green/Black belt Six Sigma)
- Knowledge of 3D drawing tool (like Creo or similar)
- Fluency in Italian and an intermediate level of English or fluency in English and an intermediate level of Italian
- Experience on troubleshooting complex issues involving several factors, in a structured way
