Job Summary

Our Services Organization is growing at a high pace, that's why we are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Maintenance Engineers to join our team in Panama. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical products and support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services. You will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company's reputation for commitment and service worldwide. That's why we consider this role to be of great importance. In this position, you will be traveling extensively in Panama, and occasionally abroad.

What You Will Do

As a Maintenance Engineer you will:

  • Travel to customer sites to:
    • Execute preventive maintenance and installation tasks of moderate complexity.
    • Use Tetra Pak Maintenance System (TPMS) tools to report and document service activities.
    • Interpret technical documentation and follow global procedures.
    • Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery.
    • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
    • Follow all safety protocols in accordance with OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team.

We Believe You Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronic, electromechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in maintenance or installation work.
  • Experience in electronics, electrical systems, and automation.
  • Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (written and verbal) preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Desirable knowledge in linear fillers, heat exchangers, and retorts (autoclaves).
  • A customer-focused attitude and a drive to improve.
  • A growth mindset, indicating a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • A proactive, safety-first approach.
