Opportunity Overview Teradyne is a global technology company delivering industry-leading ATE (Automated Test Equipment) solutions for customers around the world with advanced testing challenges. The Hardware (FPGA) Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Hardware (FPGA) Engineer to focus on the development, verification and maintenance of hardware system for products within the Semiconductor Test division. Japan Hardware team is the part of US Hardware Engineering group and development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment.

  • Practical experience in mechanical design and/or mechanical structural design
  • Understand hardware circuits and develop FPGA logic design
  • Develops FPGA Verification tests that properly exercises the logic
  • Develop in a timely and high-quality manner using simulation tools
  • Hands-on execution of product integration and verification testing and debug
  • Define and perform prototyping and characterization experiments
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, or related field from an engineering institution
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of practical experience in hardware or FPGA development
