Site Operations Supervisor

At Tennis Australia (TA) plans are underway to deliver our summer of tennis for 2026! The Australian Open will be back and we're looking for a Site Operations Supervisor to join our team until February 2026. About The Role Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the Site Operations Supervisor will:

  1. Oversee day to day operations of construction zones during bump-in and bump-out, as well as during Tournament
  2. Be an active presence across the event build site, identifying safety concerns and risk issues that may require intervention or control.
  3. Coordinate and communicate with contractors, clients, staff and event personnel regarding site procedures and venue restrictions and AO expectations
  4. Foster a positive work environment onsite with suppliers and stakeholders
  5. Coordinate Plant, Labour, and Logistics for the completion of tasks during Bump-in, Event and Bump-out

About You What you will bring to the role:

  • Major Event Experience, with exposure to Overlay, Operations, Logistics
  • Contractor management experience (desirable)
  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to engage quickly with people from a diverse range of background.
  • Ability to think quickly, be agile, solution driven, and problem solve.
  • Valid Construction Induction Card (or State or Territory equivalent) is compulsory.
  • Current Victorian Driver's license (desirable)
  • Current Forklift license (desirable)
  • Must provide your own safety boots and work clothes for bump-in and bump-out.
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
