Service Technician Opportunity

Aptitude is currently looking for a Service Technician to join their low voltage install team. This person will be the first Service Technician and will allow them to install and support hardware installation. Currently they are only installing cable and would like to expand their offering to hardware. This person will allow them to do that. They will also have this person working on smaller projects with a helper doing install, so must be willing to install when there is no service work available. This is a new group and team, so service work will be limited in the beginning, but as their teams and projects grow, so will the amount of service work. This person will be driving their own vehicle and paid mileage plus a surplus for utilizing their own vehicle until they go FTE (Full Time Employee). The opportunity to be converted to FTE could be before the 12 month period. This person must have done service work in the past utilizing multi-meters and testers to trace issues. Need someone that has installed and serviced Access Control systems, voice/data, CCTV. Must have installed Fiber and tested fiber with both OTDR and Fluke to trace issues.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
