Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues. The role involves facilitating inspections and repairs of heavy equipment, including Link-Belt Excavators, Sakai, Gorman-Rupp Pumps, New Holland, and Takeuchi.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Facilitate inspections and repairs of heavy equipment.
  • Work on a variety of equipment including Link-Belt Excavators, Sakai, and others.
  • Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment schematics for repairs.
  • Conduct field service operations involving pneumatics and hydraulics.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with heavy equipment and diesel engine repair.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certificates in relevant fields are a plus.

Work Environment:

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
