Business Intelligence Developer

The Business Intelligence Developer role is pivotal in empowering the OCI AI/ML org's Oracle Code Assist team by designing and maintaining data pipelines that integrate data from various tools into centralized databases. The developer will focus on gathering, transforming, and validating data to produce accurate metrics, dashboards, and reports that track performance against goals and KPIs. By collaborating with OCA leadership, Product and Data scientists, the role ensures that data solutions align with key business objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making and fostering continuous improvement across the organization. Key responsibilities include design, develop, maintain robust data pipelines, building scalable dashboards, automating data collection processes, and conducting regular audits to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to gather, integrate, and transform data from various tools and systems into centralized databases.
  • Collaborate with GenAI/ML leadership, product and stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals, ensuring data solutions align with operational objectives.
  • Build and optimize scalable dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track metrics against goals.
  • Monitor and validate data quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data sourced from diverse tools.
  • Partner with Product team, Data Scientists, Engineering team to understand requirements, design and develop automated processes to streamline data collection, aggregation, and analysis.
  • Conduct regular audits of data pipelines and reporting outputs to ensure reliability and alignment with evolving business needs and KPIs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in business intelligence, data integration, and analytics tools to ensure the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions in data management.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or data analytics roles, with a focus on developing data pipelines and reporting solutions.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and BI solutions.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python or Java.
  • Experience with SQL, Apache PySpark.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, assess data quality, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and present data-driven insights.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
