The Seasonal Sales Associate assists customers and helps maintain the store appearance. This position is responsible for the aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance. This position is temporary to support increased business during high volume times of the year. Primary responsibilities include greeting and acknowledging customers, operating the register, being knowledgeable about promotions, maintaining a neat front end work area, assisting with receiving and merchandising, and maintaining the cleanliness of the overall store. Qualifications include the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, effective communication, confidentiality, accuracy, organization, interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude. Physical requirements include lifting, standing, bending, gripping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, balancing, climbing ladders, and regular sight, hearing, and speech.
