Process Engineer

Our client, a leader in chemical manufacturing, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting process development, optimization, and project implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Define improvements and implement actions to resolve problems and optimize results in product quality, yields, energy, and operating costs.
Support process development and serve as the resident Operations expert in the chemistry of manufacturing processes.
Drive process improvements, process optimizations, and process control enhancements to increase efficiency and safety.
Conceive, design, and install small and medium-sized capital projects to support manufacturing goals.
Provide process training and safety procedures to chemical operators, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

What's Needed?
Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience in process design, troubleshooting, and debottlenecking to improve efficiency, capability, and safety.
Ability to develop material and energy balances to optimize raw material and energy usage.
Experience in designing and installing small to medium-sized capital projects.
Knowledge of process control systems such as Delta V, APACS, or similar, and process modeling tools like CHEMCAD is desirable.
