Location: Knoxville, Tennessee

Job Description: We are seeking a mechanical engineer with 5+ years of experience. Expertise in creating mechanical and control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design using SolidWorks
• Read electrical diagrams
• Create proposals, test results, and presentations for customers
• Work with technicians to ensure accuracy of design and safety standards
• Project schedules

Essential Skills:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Proficiency in SolidWorks

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial control systems
• Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
• Electromechanical product design
• Ability to read electrical schematics using AutoCAD

Work Environment:

The position is based in an on-site office and manufacturing environment that is temperature regulated. The role is 10%-20% focused on troubleshooting and 80% on design and office work. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The company offers holiday and paid time off.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $78.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
