Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education, Licensure or Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of pharmacy technician training program is a plus
Work Experience or Related Experience:
Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare-related environment preferred
Strong organizational skills and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and teamwork
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in basic math, including pharmaceutical calculations and conversions
Familiarity with medication names (brand and generic), dosage forms, and medical terminology
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to learn and navigate pharmacy management software and barcode scanning systems
Travel Requirements and Conditions:
This position does not require travel.
Work Environment, Conditions and Demands:
Work is performed in a climate-controlled, indoor, smoke-free pharmacy or warehouse environment
Fast-paced environment and frequent exposure to deadlines and time-sensitive tasks
