Assist licensed pharmacists in day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing and packaging medications, in compliance with local, state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Perform prepacking duties, including preparation of equipment, application of barcode-compliant labels, packaging of medications, and execution of quality control protocols to ensure accuracy and safety.
Monitor and manage inventory through stock control procedures, including stock level audits, verification of expiration dates, stock file maintenance, and internal stock transfers.
Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality of the fulfillment area by performing regular cleaning tasks and assisting in the maintenance of equipment and materials.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of and adherence to loss prevention techniques and inventory security protocols.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory bodies and internal policies.
Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and other departments to ensure a high level of service and operational efficiency.
Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and reporting workflow inefficiencies or safety concerns.
