Position Overview:
As an Engineering Intern you will support Safety Engineers and Analysts in providing safety analysis support (radiological or chemical) for the preparation, review and/or recommendation for approval of safety analysis documents associated with design, construction, startup, and operation of enriched uranium processing and support operations. Participate in team evaluations and support preparation of safety basis documentation for new and/or modified plant processes, systems and components, including items relied on for safety (IROFS) and safety related equipment (SRE). Engineering interns must have strong attention to detail, as well as excellent critical-thinking and project management skills. An engineering intern should be able to communicate effectively and use logical judgment, especially when dealing with adjustments and meeting deadlines.

Pay: $23.83 - $31.81
The starting hourly rate for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $23.83 and $31.81 per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at the time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
