Mechanical Assembly Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician II to join our team on the second shift. In this role, you will perform mechanical and electrical builds of large control panel cabinets. You must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Experience with installing mechanical parts using drawings is essential as you will build units from the ground up, including installing railing, panels, cabinets, doors, and frames.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate mechanical build tasks with other manufacturing staff to meet customer requirements while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications.
• Follow standardized procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Mechanically assemble electrical control panels per customer specifications using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish.
• Provide information and coordinate action plans at cross-functional meetings, communicating issues with team members and/or visitors to drive corrective actions.
• Utilize drawings to lay out structures for panels, measure dimensions, verify, and build panels, boxes, and electrical cabinets for the team to wire and inspect.
• Perform part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedules.
• Work under direct, close supervision, with output monitored frequently.
• Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids.
• Ensure that the assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.
• Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.38 - $24.38/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
