Clinical Dietitian (Hourly-PRN)

TouchPoint is seeking a Clinical Dietitian (Hourly-PRN) to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Detroit, MI. This position is eligible for an Employee Referral Bonus!

Key responsibilities include providing medical nutrition therapy, following guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies&Procedures Manual, and complying with all regulatory standards. The dietitian will also train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable, and participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications include being credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, and possessing one year of hospital experience, preferred. The dietitian must also have the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record&diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
