Transportation Carrier Specialist

Job Title: Transportation Carrier Specialist

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Work Location: Nashville, TN

Shift Schedule: Shifts vary Sunday – Saturday 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on programs, metrics, reports, and dashboards to support business decisions
• Identify and resolve escalations within carrier network
• Pull and analyze data using Excel, Access, and SQL
• Operate within SIM queues to address driver and carrier issues
• Communicate effectively via Slack (internal) and email (external)

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

• SIM ticket resolution
• Parking and routing accuracy
• Carrier communications and overall performance

Requirements & Skills

Must-Haves:

• 1–3 years' experience in ticketing, transportation, customer service
• Entry-level proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Operational focus (no phone work required)
• High school diploma

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with logistics, SIM, intermodal, carrier management, supply chain
• Data analysis and customer service exposure
• Flexibility in work schedule

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
