Component Development Engineer (K/M) - Temporary Contract

Workplace: Gliwice

Work Schedule: 4 days in office / 1 day remote

Your tasks:

Searching for testing methods reflecting the functionality of valve systems
Contacting suppliers to determine the technical details of component design solutions
Coordinating and overseeing technical documentation related to the introduction of new parts into serial production (material lists, specifications, drawing documentation, calculation reports, test reports, etc.)
Global cooperation with suppliers and Tenneco divisions

Our expectations:

Higher technical education (materials science, production engineering, mechanics, and machine construction)
Experience in automotive industry projects and the development of sintered/mechanical components
Knowledge of basic automotive tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP
Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
High level of technical skills and analytical abilities
Communication skills and time management
Very good knowledge of English - permanent work in English
Minimum 2 years of experience as an engineer
Ability to read technical drawings
Experience in acquiring and analyzing SAP ERP production data is highly desirable
