- Game Feature Development: Participate in the design, development, and debugging of game client modules, implementing gameplay systems and interaction logic
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize client-side performance, addressing issues related to frame rate, memory usage, and loading times
- Game AI: Contribute to the design and implementation of AI behaviors for NPCs, enemies, and bosses, including behavior trees and state machines
- AI Harness Engineering: Build and iterate on the supporting framework for AI agents in games, including prompt design, tool calling, context management, evaluation pipelines, and the integration of LLMs / agents with the game runtime
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field (Junior year and above for undergraduates / Master's students)
- Proficient in C++
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine or Unity
- English: Strong reading and writing skills
- Japanese: JLPT N1 or equivalent proficiency
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Genuine passion for game development; an active gamer
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- Personal or team-based game development projects (Demos / Game Jams / portfolio works)
- Understanding of network synchronization, physics engines, and related systems
- Experience in AI Harness / Agent framework development (e.g., prompt engineering, tool calling, agent pipeline design, LLM application evaluation)
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning fundamentals (e.g., PPO, DQN, and other common algorithms)
- Familiarity with mainstream LLM APIs or agent development frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen)
- Knowledge of game AI techniques (behavior trees, GOAP, pathfinding algorithms, etc.)
- An active GitHub profile, technical blog, or game portfolio
- Experience with version control tools such as Git or Perforce
