Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care as part of an EMS team and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients and trains transport personnel. Relates effectively with others for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with coworkers, referring and receiving organizations; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. State Driver's License must be in good standing, 3 points or less. Drives and operates specially equipped emergency vehicles to specified locations at a safe and controlled speed, in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations and standards. EMSVO Credentialing is required.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Non Degree Program Emergency Medical Technician Required
Experience:
1 year experience working as an EMT Required
1 year experience driving a Type III Ambulance Required
