Equipment Engineer

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will develop innovative equipment for the manufacturing of our medical products and automate existing production processes. You will design components and assemblies and create standard technical drawings. In close cooperation with product and process development as well as maintenance, you will ensure that new equipment is optimally integrated into our prototype development or production. You will coordinate the manufacturing of components with our internal workshop as well as with external partners. For components to be purchased, you will coordinate with suppliers and support in procurement, acceptance, and qualification of externally sourced equipment. You will also create the complete technical manufacturer documentation of the equipment you develop.

Requirements for Education/Experience: You enjoy designing and developing machines in a team and automating existing processes. Innovation and creativity are your strengths, and you want to actively contribute to making our high-quality medical products reliably and efficiently manufactured. You have a completed engineering degree – alternatively, you have at least two years of experience in product, process, or technology development. You have solid knowledge of CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks, and standard drawing creation. You also have a good understanding of relevant standards, regulations, and legal requirements. You communicate confidently in German and English.
