Teledyne Controls is seeking a Senior Field Support Service Engineer to be the focal point in helping our support and services business segment based on the acquisition, transmission, distribution, and analysis of flight data.

The candidate should have knowledge on all products used by Teledyne Controls and the services we provide. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Works on problems of diverse scope across both hardware and software environments. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Assist in technical support relationship to drive customer satisfaction by proactively implementing technical solutions for our customers.
• Assist and help develop new engineers to aid their development in understanding the Teledyne controls suite of products.
• Perform customer visits to train and support on our products and services.
• Create reports using data provided by our customers and analyzed by our software platforms.
• Work with tools such as SQL, Tableau, etc. to be able to extract meaningful information from customer data.
• Program simple applications using Teledyne Controls tools.
• Resolve challenging, potentially high impact customer situations with a high level of tact and understanding.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimum supervision to support deployment, integration and maintenance of Controls' hardware and software products within clients' environments.
• Be able to understand customer needs and identify possible new sales opportunities.
• Effectively interact with the engineering teams to provide solutions to complex technical issues.
• Share best practices with fellow team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of our processes.
• Travel domestically and internationally to Customer sites, industry conferences, as necessary.
• Work on different projects simultaneously.
• Briefs others on deployment, deliverables, status, and progress

Education and/or Experience:

• Requires a bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical or other related Engineering discipline.
• At least a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience with Teledyne controls products.
• Complete understanding of aviation and/or avionics system is a must.
• Experience working with Tableau, or any other Data Analysis/Visualization software is highly desired.

Must reside in UK, preferably near Cumbernauld.
