Senior Voice Over IP (VoIP) Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Voice over IP (VoIP) Engineer to join our team supporting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Rockville, MD.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Global Infrastructure and Development Acquisition (GLINDA) provides a wide variety of Information Technology (IT) support services to the NRC Headquarters located in Rockville, MD; with four Regional Offices.

We are looking for a senior VoIP Engineer with strong experience in architecting, configuring and supporting a variety of telephony and collaboration solutions. You will be required to support multiple VoIP solutions for different customer use cases, with a primary focus on administrating the Cisco Meeting Center to ensure proper functionality and availability of conference bridges and integration with Cisco Unified Call Manager.

You will define technical strategies and design solutions tailored to business needs and interact with stakeholders. This is a hands-on engineering position requiring knowledge of VoIP architectures and the ability to react quickly to emerging customer requirements. The successful candidate will serve as both a technical SME, an escalation resource for lower support tiers, and trusted advisor to our customers.
