Radio Sales Assistant provides administrative and sales support to the Account Executives and Sales Management team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth execution of client campaigns, timely delivery of commercial schedules, and accurate reporting. The Sales Assistant serves as a liaison between clients, account executives, traffic, and other internal departments.
Responsibilities include supporting Account Executives by preparing sales presentations, proposals, and recap reports. They enter and maintain orders in the traffic and billing system with a high level of accuracy. They monitor commercial schedules to ensure proper placement and delivery; process make-goods when necessary. They provide regular reports on account activity, revenue tracking, and pending business. They assist with client communications, including scheduling meetings and following up on deliverables. They coordinate with traffic, promotions, and programming departments to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. They maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, and client correspondence. They perform general administrative duties for the sales department, including handling phone calls, emails, and scheduling.
Requirements include previous office, sales support, or administrative experience, preferably in the media or advertising field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is necessary. Experience with WideOrbit or similar traffic/billing software is a plus. A positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and attention to detail are crucial.
