Sr Mfg & Process Dvl Engineer
Implements manufacturing techniques, processes, tools, and machinery to maximize throughput; performs research on products and manufacturing processes and shares the same with senior engineers.
Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes to increase efficiency; consulting on and overseeing the selection and implementation of automation and robotics on the assembly line.
Resolving complex issues on design, manufacturability and build sequences; ensures production environment standards are met.
Designing and implementing processes for manufacturing equipment selection; identifying optimal tools for machines.
Establishing control charting of complex features and processes; monitoring results and determining machine capabilities, process capabilities, and performance reliability.
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level.
