Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will perform essential testing and quality control functions in the lab, ensuring that all products meet industry standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct testing on various materials and products according to established protocols.
• Prepare samples and set up testing equipment and instruments.
• Document test results and maintain accurate records of all testing procedures.
• Report any irregularities or issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety guidelines and assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in the training of new team members as needed.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a technical field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or testing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures a plus.

Required Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a lab environment, which may include exposure to various materials.

Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $46,000 – $68,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
