Field Application Engineer (M/W/D) - Europe - Remote

To strengthen our European team, we are looking for a dedicated Field Application Engineer (FAE) with technical know-how, enthusiasm for innovative products and high customer orientation.

Your Tasks

• Technical consulting & design-in: Support our customers in the integration of TE products in their system landscapes – both with existing solutions and in the context of new developments (remote or on-site).
• Project support: Independently manage new customer projects – from the identification of relevant applications to the creation of technical specifications and series approval. Use of internal systems (e.g. RTS, SFDC).
• Product presentations & trainings: Conduct customer trainings, webinars and product demonstrations with a focus on our relay and contactor product lines for diverse applications.
• Technical support: Competent contact person for technical questions from our customers, sales and distribution partners – both in the pre-sales and after-sales area.
• Samples & prototypes: Support in sample setups, small series and product-related demonstration material.
• Standards work: Active participation in national and international standardization committees (e.g. DIN), especially in the area of military standards – in close coordination with our US plants.
• Europe-wide cooperation: Close networking and support of colleagues within the entire EMEA region.

What You Should Bring

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g. state-certified technician or industrial master with relevant experience)
• Experience in technical customer consulting and/or in technical sales, ideally in the aerospace, defense or high-tech industry sectors
• Sound knowledge of electrical engineering, especially in the use of relays and contacts within complex system architectures
• Confident in handling circuit diagrams, flow diagrams, block diagrams and system designs
• Communicative, solution-oriented and convincing in direct customer contact
• Fluent German and English; further languages (e.g. French, Spanish or Italian) are an advantage
• Practical skills for trade fair setups, product demonstrations and customer-specific applications
• Routine in the use of presentation tools, webinars and digital platforms
• High willingness to travel in Europe and enjoyment of international cooperation
