Subcontracting And Estimating Engineer Internship
We are currently seeking a Subcontracting and Estimating Engineer in INTERNSHIP, reporting directly to Section Head, to join our team based in our Rome offices, c/o Construction Department, Italy.
About the role:
- Preparation of cost estimate for construction subcontracting works, either during proposal/FEED or project phases, according to the specific proposal/project subcontracting strategy.
- Bid and Award of Subcontracts for the execution of Construction works.
The role and tasks include the following main activities:
- Participates in the proposal or subcontract development process;
- Analyzes tender requirements;
- Collects bill of quantities;
- Performs preparation, assembly and issuance of call for bid, addendums, and tender clarifications;
- Performs and deliver the Construction Cost estimate and benchmarking of construction costs;
- Ensures sourcing and qualification of bidders;
- Performs preparation of Construction man-hours estimate;
- Performs bid tabulation;
- Implements the subcontracting management strategy of the project;
- Performs negotiation and award the subcontracts;
Starting Date: 2nd quarter 2026
About you:

- Graduated in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Energy, Chemical.
- Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Teamwork attitude.
