We are currently seeking a Senior Planning Engineer, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for leading planning and scheduling activities for offshore projects, ensuring accurate project control, progress analysis, and timely reporting. The role supports project execution teams by providing schedule expertise, forecasting, and recovery planning.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules for offshore projects.
• Review contractor and subcontractor schedules for compliance and accuracy.
• Lead schedule analysis, forecasting, and progress measurement activities.
• Identify schedule deviations and recommend mitigation or recovery measures.
• Prepare regular reports, S-curves, and management presentations.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, procurement, and project management teams.
• Support change management, claims, and schedule impact assessments.
• Mentor junior planning staff and support planning procedures and standards.

Experience required:

• 11 to 16 years of experience in project planning and controls.
• Strong offshore project experience is essential.
• Proven background in major project scheduling and reporting.

Required skills:

• Advanced Primavera P6 knowledge.
• Strong schedule analysis and forecasting capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
