Position Summary

As part of the 123 team and boarder Tech24 network, the Service Manager plays a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring customers' operations run efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable leading a team of technicians, while representing the company with professionalism and integrity. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer special needs and projects
  • Manage field service technicians and office support staff to ensure quality of work, appearance and professionalism
  • Assist Dispatcher with technician schedules and maintain communication between office and field
  • Review and evaluate technician's operational performance
  • Assist with the development of technician's skills and hiring additional manpower as needed
  • Review and approve time-sheets for hourly employees
  • Understanding of contractual agreements, operational parameters for each contract and warranty customer

Qualifications

  • 3 years of prior management experience required
  • Excellent computer knowledge and the ability to use most Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook and any new operating system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $93,000 to $99,800. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience, manufacture certifications, or specialized expertise may be considered at the higher end of the range.
