Operations Support Coordinator

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Due to recent staff movements, we have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Coordinator to join our team in Invercargill! This is a busy, hands-on role where you'll be at the centre of branch activity — supporting daily operations, coordinating freight movements, and ensuring our customers and teams are set up for success.

About the Role

You'll play a key part in keeping our operations moving, from scanning compliance and freight allocations to supporting transport planning and customer service. Working closely with the branch leadership team, you'll help drive performance, safety, and customer satisfaction across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily branch operations, including scanning, collections, and freight staging
• Monitor third-party usage and support DIFOT performance
• Assist with reporting, data integrity, and continuous improvement projects
• Support customer queries and resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Promote a safe, compliant, and well-organised workplace

What Will You Bring?

With experience in transport, logistics, or operations, you're confident juggling competing priorities while keeping a sharp eye on detail. You're as comfortable working with data and reporting tools as you are supporting people on the floor.

Additionally, you'll bring:

• 3+ years' experience in transport, logistics, or operations
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communicator who builds positive relationships
• Confident using systems and reporting tools (TMS/Power BI an advantage)
• A team player with a focus on safety, accuracy, and results
