Security Ops Center (SOC) Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Ops Center (SOC) Associate to join our global security team. This entry-level role is the foundation of our cyber defense operations, offering the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop under the guidance of experienced security professionals.

As a Cyber Security Associate, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our organization by monitoring our digital footprint, collecting and analyzing online data related to potential cyber threats, and executing automated security scans using internal tools.

You will also contribute to process improvements through basic scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about cybersecurity, eager to gain hands-on experience, and ready to build a career in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will work remotely, with occasional travel, and be part of a collaborative team dedicated to protecting our company's assets and reputation.

What You'll Do:

  • Ongoing review, collect and store data information about the company related to the business for future cyber-attacks against the company, doing this by browsing in the internet.
  • Executes automated scanning runs with our internal tools, to review the presence of our company on the internet.
  • Executes simples scripting in PowerShell, Python or Bash, to maintain the internal tools or to improve any internal process regarding the cyber security team Performs other additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Associate's Technical Degree.
  • Entry Level (0 to 1 Years of relevant work experience).
  • Security related certifications N/A.
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Able to recognize and attend important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.
  • Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an intermediate level.

Other Education/Certifications:

  • Certifications in Cybersecurity desired (at least one).

Working Conditions:

  • Professional environment (Remote).
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
  • On-call availability required as necessary.
