Internship/Co-op Opportunity at TD Insurance Affinity Market Group
This internship is an excellent opportunity to build your skills in event planning, communication, and project management.
Reporting to the Manager, Events & Group Support, the Affinity Market Group Support Associate offers administrative and communications support to relationship managers and market leads in the management of group programs and relationships with affinity partners.
The TD Insurance Affinity Market Group (AMG) has a mandate to profitably grow the Affinity business by renewing and signing new partnerships while also expanding access required to acquire and retain customers in collaboration with our 750+ Alumni, Professional, and Employer partners.
This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 4th - August 21st 2026.
Job Description:
- Research industry tradeshows, vendors, and suppliers.
- Make show recommendations based on sales target and business objectives.
- Assist in developing event timelines, budgets, and post-event reports.
- Involved in supporting the coordination of industry events and tradeshows such as booking space, furniture, follow up with show organizers.
- Lead tracker: add leads into OneTD reciprocal tracker.
- Data analysis and ad hoc reporting request, data gathering and online prospect research.
- Ensure information on SBI scorecard is updated.
- Coordinate event logistics: show material and resource management.
- Manage trinket/swag inventory for the SBI team, place order requests and coordinate shipments as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field.
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event planning tools is a plus.
- Creative mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to exercise flexibility in work relationships and within hours of operation.
