Job Description:
Can you establish, create, and maintain interesting connections with our clients? Do you enjoy dealing with clients and helping them with their financial needs? We are looking for a Personal Banking Services Associate for our branch, who will be able to direct clients to the staff member who can meet their financial and banking needs, including new accounts, investment advice, and banking solutions. During a normal day, your duties could include:
· Engaging in conversations with clients about advice-related needs, routine banking operations, service operations, digital service information, and resolving issues related to banking solutions
· Understanding client needs and directing them to the right person who will provide relevant solutions, while demonstrating good judgment for confidential matters
· Instilling confidence in clients regarding new trends in digital banking options, discussing mobile banking, bank ATMs, and online banking services
· Supporting frontline staff with planned or unplanned cash operations; resolving major issues and reporting exceptions to management
· Recommending improvements to working practices, branch operations, and processes to enhance the client experience and achieve operational excellence
· Participating in the accurate and timely use of business processes and procedures
· Ensuring that prepared documents are accurate, reflect the company's intentions, and comply with relevant regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
· Contributing to creating a positive and fair workplace by promoting team effectiveness, participating in individual performance and development, and sharing industry knowledge to achieve a common goal
Requirements of the position:
· High school diploma and/or
· At least one year of relevant experience
· Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) course or equivalent – within 6 months of appointment
· Post-secondary diploma or undergraduate degree (in a related field), an asset
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), branch software, and internet
· Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to inform clients
· Initiative and ability to work in a dynamic work environment independently, with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
· Dynamic influencer, meticulous and efficient, with a positive attitude for taking initiatives, handling multiple tasks, and changing priorities
· Good communicator with recognized skills in customer experience, who can effectively establish a connection, verbally or in writing, with clients and relevant teams in a courteous and efficient manner
